Here's the deal...

Article Submissions:

We have been bombarded with submissions and spam. To eliminate this inconvenience of spam, and to weed out the serious from the not-so-serious, we are only taking submissions via snail-mail. (See: contact info). Further, we charge a reader's fee for all submissions. Therefore, only the serious need apply. For an article for RECIPIES -- between 800 and 1200 words -- you must send a check along with your submission for $25.00. If we publish your work, we will return the $25.00. If not, oh well. You tried. Keep submitting. In the spirit of Bobbypin, if at first you don't succeed, keep trying. Bobbypin reserves the right to edit articles for length and content, and unless you offer us otherwise, we are requesting one-time rights for publication on our websites. WE DO NOT RETURN SUBMISSIONS!

Format: You may send your manucript addressed to editor on disc preferrably in RICH TEXT FORMAT or RTF. Please include your contact information, including daytime telephone number.

Bio: Please enclose a brief (2-3 sentences) biographical sketch with your cover letter and manuscript so that we will have it on hand if we print your article. Submissions without bio, name, or address and contact information will not be considered.

Tips:
* We are looking for fun, sassy, informative articles
* We prefer personal stories of triumph
* We would like to hear from men
* We would like to hear from people of all ages
* We are not interested in the conventional and predictable
* Please submit previously unpublished articles only

Response Time: We try to respond to all submissions promptly, but due to the volume we receive it is not always possible to do so. Please be patient as it can sometimes take 6 to 8 weeks for a response, If it has been more than 8 weeks, feel free to inquire about you submission via e-mail. We do not accept phone calls.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSIONS:

If you are interested in having us read your novel for publication on ebobbypinbooks.com, or through our paper publishing company, you must send a check along with your submission for $100.00. WE DO NOT RETURN reader's fees! Please send with your submission a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your manuscripts returned. Otherwise, we are not responsible for your property.

ART & PHOTOGRAPHY SUBMISSIONS:
We encourage our readers to send us their B&W photographs for publication on our website. Read about who we are and what we are about as your images should reflect the spirit of Bobbypin. Photograhs should be high res and 11 X 17, sent on disc. We do not pay, but we do publish a bio of the artist with information on how she/he can be contacted by readers who may be interested in viewing and/or purchasing prints or orignials.

POETRY:
We accept poetry submissions and all the previous conditions of submission and publication apply.
